If you weren't already acquainted with this month's guest designer,
let me introduce her to you:
My name is Gabrielle Pollacco, I live in Cambridge, Ontario (Canada). I started scrapbooking about 7 years ago and fell in love with this art form from the very first page I made. I love that this art form is ever changing and find myself constantly inspired by all the wonderful new products that come out each year. My favourite thing to scrap about is my family, my dear husband and my two girls, as well as my extended family.

I've had the honour to be on a number of wonderful design teams over the years, some of my past design teams being Daisy D's and Zva Creative and am presently on the Bo Bunny, Webster's Pages, Dusty Attic, The Color Room and Scrap 365 Magazine (UK Magazine). I've had my work published in Memory Makers Magazine, Creating Keepsakes Magazine and Scrapbooking & Beyond Magazine, Scrap365 as well as a number of online magazines. I worked for a Tradeshow Design company as a project manager before I had my babies and now that I'm a stay at home mom I'm fortunate enough to have a little time to enjoy this amazing hobby.I'm delighted to have been asked to be a Guest Designer for Swirlydoo's and join in with the amazingly talented group of designers here for this month!

Here are the blog hop rules and link info:

You have until midnight, eastern time, on Monday, July 9th to complete the hop. Winners will be announced on the Swirlydoos Blog on July 10th.  In order to qualify to win here is what you need to do:

1: Visit all of the blogs and leave a comment on each. This way we know you were there. Become a follower if you're not already. Take your time. There are REALLY beautiful things to see along the way.
2: Before you leave each blog, look for the “special” words and write it down.
Once you have visited all the blogs and collected all the special words, they will create a QUESTION.
3: Finally, go back to the Swirlydoos blog and leave a comment letting us know how much fun you had, tell us the QUESTION that was created with all of the special words you collected, and  THEN ANSWER it!!    Can't wait to hear from you.

Well all the projects inspired me to start getting the Swirlydoo kits. They are packed with goodies and I could do so much with them. I'm more of a crafter then a scrapbooker and I could really use these kits!! So fun♥

Gorgeous work ladies.

What one thing did you see today that is spiring you to try something new? There was so much inspiration on this hop, but if I have to list one thing, I would have to say Gabbi's clay flowers. Her flowers were absolutely stunning. I've been straddling the fence on buying the MS clays, now I have to get some.

What a wonderful blog hop - you weren't exaggeratiing when you said there were incredible projects! The question is "What one thing did you see today that is inspiring youth try something new?". I saw a lot that inspired me, but if I have to pick one thing, it be Tiffany's altered bottles. Although all the layouts and projects are fantastic, I haven't tried this before, so it inspired me to think about using my crafting in another way. Thanks for the hop and the chance to win!

That was fun! and I found several new blogs to follow.
Special Question: What one thing did you see today that is inspiring you to try something new?
Answer: It is hard to name one but, I really enjoyed seeing how paulienvandenbosch.blogspot.com decorated her bird bath element & used the glass tiles as water - I am going to have try using puffy paint, glossy accents & stickles to create something similar - very beautiful & so creative!
TFS, Bonnie :-)

I really enjoyed this blog hop. So many gorgeous projects and layouts to look at.

"What one thing did you see today that is inspiring you to try something new?" I would have to say the zipper treatment on Gabi's "Bug Hunter" layout. I have quite the collection of zippers and sewing elements and haven't taken the time to try out new things, so I will definitely be trying that technique. Thanks for a great Blog Hop!!

What one thing did you see today that inspired you to try something new?

I saw several lovely chipboard treatments and I certainly have a stash of chipboard which could use it.

It was my first Blog Hopping. I had a lot of fun and saw a lot of inspirational layouts and projects.

Q: "What one thing did you see today that is inspiring you to try something new"?

A: So many beautiful examples will make me dust off my scrap room that I didn't use for couple of months and get going! And that 'one thing' - would definitely be trying to use Tiffany's tutorial on altering the bottle. I've never done altering projects before - so it's going to be something totally new for me.

Thank you for this amazing blog hop! You definitely inspired me a lot with all of these gorgeous creations.
The secret question is:
What one thing did you see today that is inspiring you to try something new?
The sketch inspired me to try something outside the box. I usually stick to a layered one-photo design, but this sketch inspired me to do multi photo pages more often.

I was so inspired on this hop. The mists the colours that attention to details. It is all so amazing. But the one thing I want to try is the mixed media. I love to see gesso and modelling paste and need to attempt adding my own colours.

Wonderful hop, as usual. The design team at Swirlydoos just blows me away! I couldn't get my comment to work at the Pion blog, but have collected the secret question:

What one thing did you see today that is inspiring you to try something new?

It's so hard to narrow it down to one, and since savages delight in rule breaking, I'll give you two: Gabrielle's gorgeous creations with the clay and Rae's stunning take on Anna Dabrowska's style have really inspired me.

Maria said...

Question: What one thing did you see today that is inspiring you to try something new.

Hmm, can't narrow it down to one thing - the DT layouts, the sketch and the technique tutorial are all going to have me going when my kits come in.

The hop was so much fun.
The question - What one thing did you see today that is inspiring you to try something new?
The answer is, How can I pick just one thing. So much inspiration in general, and all the very cool things that the girls made with the MS clay kit. I also love all the applications using the chipboard pieces. I love using them.

I would have to say the clay. I remember as a girl my grandma made roses with clay and put them on tile boxes. What fun it would be to learn how to recreate that.

Hi! What a wonderful blo hop! Here it is... the question:
"What one thing did you see today that is inspiring you to try something new?"
My answer: Here in Brazil the scraps styles are cleanner and less romantic than everything I see. I am reaaly in love with the amount of flowers and gesso technics that you use abroad. I was trying to use it, but I didn't know how to use it well. Now... with this gourgeous class and the fantastic teachers I met in this blog hop, I think I'm ready to use them (flowers and gesso) with success! Thanks very much for the chance to participate and for all the beauties you gave us!
